Biography


Fine Art Studies at RMIT and Bendigo Institute of Technology 1970 to 1975


First solo exhibition in 1971, Gallery 99, Carlton Melbourne.


Gallery and artists printmaking workshop.

The Field Gallery
1979 – 1989 (10 yrs)
South Melbourne, Victoria Australia

First established in 1979 as The Field Workshop in the suburb of Ripponlea, as an open-access print workshop with exhibition space. It was relocated to South Melbourne and continued with both names, The Field Workshop with two etching presses and a lithography press, and The Field Gallery with an active program of exhibitions through until closure in 1989. Activities on the printmaking side: The printing of editions for professional artists, hiring out the facilities to artists printing their own plates, printmaking courses, and instruction days for visiting groups from schools, the National Gallery of Victoria and private groups.


Return to own artwork

1989 - Tour of art galleries and studios in Scandinavia and Germany
1992 - Return to Norway to set up print workshop and studio, working there until 2010

Participating in exhibitions in Scandinavia and England

2010 Relocated studio to Thailand.
